Kingscote

Present day Kingscote is the largest town on Kangaroo Island. It can trace its existence back to 27 July 1836 with the arrival of the Duke of York, making Kingscote South Australia’s first official European settlement. The Old Mulberry tree is a living relic from this time, it was planted soon after the first colonists arrived and is South Australia’s oldest living European plant.
