Great Australian Bight

</p>”]The Great Australian Bight is a large bight or open bay that runs along the Southern Australian coastline. For much of its length the Great Australian Bight is dominated by steep cliffs that at some points reach 60 metres high. It was first encountered by European explorers in 1627 but was only accurately charted by Matthew Flinders in 1802.
