The weather has remain’d very unsettled since the

5th inst and the wind sometimes varying a few points but
generally blowing strong from the W,S,W, This morning
one of our sows died while another has been off her
meat for a few days, and is not able to stand upon her
legs this Eveng I cannot assign, any other reason for their
Illness, than the very confined situation, in which they
are placed, preventing them getting, the least possible
exercise   ____    During this Day, the Capt sent on board,
six young Sheep, likewise a lot of Sweedish Turnips,
and some Hay
