After committing my all to God imperfectly in the
name of a perfect saivour went on shore but it blew
so hard the tradesmen could not come on board let
go the streem anchor the pilots men got up the anchor
and cable we parted from on monday morning in
the afternoon the weather more moderate the trades
people came on board to work at the windlass some
of our passengers went on shore I sent a letter to
my dear partner which I wrote on shore after being
kindly and affectionately received by Gods people on
shore for which I desire to be gratefull for I returned
on board read the word of God and lay down at peace
A man by the name of Wells run to day stole my great
coat
