In the morning read the 5^th chapt of Leviticus with
tract commentry and dureing the day the life of Dr
Herbert in the everning read to a few of the crew the
49^th and 50^th Psalms and Horns commentry with an exhor
tation to the people to pray for the heathen I felt my
soul much alive to God but afterwards had to settle
with the steward and cabin boy both bing drinking
they are mostly in the lower cabin out of my sight
