Saturday 24 September 1836

Sep^t 24^th Powell and Chandler have been engaged all Yest^dy
& this Day, strengthening the Sheep Sheds, and commenced putting
a good strong Fence round the two Paddocks as the temporary ones
that were made at our first coming here, have become of no use whatever
to keep in the Sheep – G. Bates has been employ’d since Thursday
assisting me with the live Stock and occasionally at the Fence   ____
