[, on board the wrote. | Read source notes.]

This 24 hours strong winds from the south attended with
rain employd as needfull a party cutting wood a sail
in sight
In the evening held a prayer meeting in the cabin 4
prayed I belive god in Christ was in the midst of us the
young man Glansford says O Lord do strengthing us to
pass by this firey lake O do save me from this wicked
world O do surport me or I shall be on a bed of sickness
we are about the greatest work we can be engaged in
I cannot give thee fine words but though I cannot thou
knowest my heart in such language as this does this young
man seek god
