the land at 8 on the lee beam. Drizzly occasionally

Calm during the middle of the day, off the coast of Dorsetshire.

About 7 P.M. a light air sprung up from the N.E. At 10, the light

of Portland bore East, about 12 miles. Midt. Light airs & cloudy.
