Tuesday 4th Not able to move hardly, therefore
could not accompany the party onshore much to my
disappointment as this sort of work, exploring was
a source of great amusement and excited interest
only felt by those engaged in it. The party returned about 3 o
clock reporting well of the country We now for the first time saw
the Native fires so they cannot be far off, it is reported by the
women accompanying us they are rather a fierce set about
here.
