Wednesday 31 August 1836

This 24 hours calms and plesent weather employd
painting taring and other jobs as needfull we caught
a few fish of the salmon kind
We had family service in the everning but as it
was late and we tired the service was dull I hope
by gods grace to be more [h]artyer for the futer
